-Interstate State Park-

This weekends quarantine escape brings us to another Wisconsin State Park.  Just outside of St Croix Falls on Hwy 35 lies a hidden gem of a destination. Interstate State Park like its name implies, shares a border with Minnesota. The St Croix River splits the park into two halves and both sides have great hiking opportunities, a campground and spectacular views.

The variety of activities available here is second to none.  Awesome hiking trails, rock climbing, camping, canoeing, kayaking and fishing.  The list goes on and on and the beauty of the entire park can only be measured by seeing it in person.

Scenic views along the trails are everywhere.  We hiked the Lake of Dalles, Echo Canyon, Summit Rock and Pothole trails.  These are just a few of the trails on the Wisconsin side.
Jen and I are planning a weekend of camping here so we can spend a few days exploring both sides of the park.   Click the link here for a detailed map of all the trails.

We put together a short video showing some of the highlights of our day in the park.  Check it out down below the photographs. Hope you enjoy!
